Mars Business Advisory
Mars Business Advisory was first established in early 2011. We started our financial consultancy promoting general bank facilities and a wide selection of financial products. After a few years, our two directors of the company Derrick and Jacky realised that the common financial solutions and standard financial facilities do not always meet the needs & demands of their clients.
They found that when common solutions & jargons are used too sparingly, it made the situation more complicated. In other words, it was as if recommending customers to use a square peg to fill in round holes.
Mars Business Advisory today has shifted our collective focus to personalise financial products and services to better resolve our client’s issues. The approach has since garnered success. Mars Business Advisory is now a team of over 100 people with 12 branches across Malaysia.

Derrick Yap
Derrick’s humble beginnings in the financial industry began as a credit card salesperson. After achieving great results, he spend 10 years mastering the art of finances before starting Mars Advisory.
He has since taken the depth of his financial knowledge to incorporate flexibile yet reliable financial products at Mars Advisory. He is a great listener and solution mastermind when it comes to creating personalised solutions that support & meets the requirements of Mar Advisory’s respected clientele.
Derrick stands for a strong and sound ethical approach to financial consultancy. It is this driving principle that has helped him establish the significant growth and gains that Mars Advisory enjoys daily.

Karen Chan
Karen Chan is the Branch Director of Mars Business Advisory in Kepong Metro Perdana Branch. She holds IT and Computerised Accounting qualification.
Karen has many years of experience in the financial industry, throughout her career, she has accumulated multifaceted financial knowledge, from accountant to top salesperson, team leaders, and even brand manager, she has been working hard to keep herself growing ceaselessly.
She worked in a well-known bank for 3 years, and during her tenure, she had achieved Top Sales for 2 consecutive years. Besides, during the 8 years in the agency, she won 3 Top Sales honour, meanwhile, under her wise leadership, her team has won the excellent results of Top Team in the company twice.
Karen believes that “every path is made by oneself, not by a daydreaming”, thus the decision you made, your first move are particularly important. A wise choice will lead you to the right route.
Tania Lim
Tania Lim is the Branch Director of Mars Business Advisory in Kepong Taman Rimbunan Branch. She was graduated with a Bachelor of Degree in Business Finance from Help University. Tania possessed more than 10 years of experience in the banking industry, which she mainly focusing on the sales and marketing field.
Throughout Tania’s career, Tania has worked in various well-known banks, includes Hong Leong Bank, CIMB bank and Alliance Bank. During her tenure in the mentioned banks, she had been repeatedly obtained Top Sales Achievement in both personal loan and card sales, additionally, her team also achieved Top Team Sales Performance under her leadership.
Tania’s success lies in her insistence, she believes that as a competent financial advisor, one must insist on providing every customer with the most satisfactory service and the most suitable financial plan for them.
Nicholas Lee
Nicholas Lee is the Branch Director of Mars Business Advisory in Bandar Puteri Puchong Branch. Nicholas is an experienced financial advisor with 6 years banking line and 3 years of agency experience in the financial industry.
During his tenure at Standard Chartered Bank, he achieved outstanding performance with The Most Submissions and The Highest Approvals for three consecutive months. In addition, while he was employed under Alliance Bank, he has obtained excellent results by continuously achieved Monthly Performance of 1M++ and The Top Approval of the month.
For him, “Vision without action is just a futile”, so he believes that as long as he is willing to learn and take action, success will be well within our reach.
Christopher Lim
Christopher Lim is the Branch Director of Mars Business Advisory in Kepong Bandar Menjalara Branch. He possessed more than 12 years of experience in telemarketing and housing loan, focusing on sales and leadership roles.
Christopher believes that one can learn more in failure than from success, thus, he never flinch and withdraw himself from trying as he thinks failure can help to build characters. Through his strong belief and persistence, he won more than 10 awards of excellent when he employed under Alliance Bank (Housing Loan Outstanding Performance and Million Dollar Club Award). Besides that, during his tenure in telemarketing industry, he won numerous top performance awards and even Sales Manager Achiever award. For him, the awards he obtained is not only a certification of his hard work, but as well the motivation for him to make himself stronger and more capable.
Apple Kuan
Apple Kuan is the Branch Director of Mars Business Advisory in Kepong Taman Usahawan Branch. She was graduated with the qualification of Graphic Design. She was an experienced sales executive and sales managers before she joined the agency, therefore she is an expert in sales and marketing.
Her faith and hardworking led to be a Sales Executive Award winner for 2 consecutive years in her earlier career and been promoted to Sales Team Manager in a short period of time. To date, she already worked in the agency for 8 years and she won 4 Top Sales honour while she served as a telesales of the company.
Apple believes that no kind of success can be achieved inevitable, but only if you dare to climb high on your choice, eventually success will come closer to you. Hence, Apple is daring in trying new things and she will never regret or look back once she made decisions.
Alan Law
Alan Law is the Branch Director of Mars Business Advisory in Kepong Taman Rimbunan Branch. He was graduated with the qualification of Information Technology from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. He has more than 6 years of experience in the financial sector, mainly in sales and leadership roles.
Alan who graduated from the computer science department felt that his eloquence was mediocre which put himself in a disadvantaged situation when he started to develop his career in the financial industry. However, he was not discouraged and continued to learn hard and work hard, yet seek breakthroughs, and now he has successfully created his own platform and team to assist the customer group who encountered financial difficulties and capital turnover problems in their business.
To date, Alan has assisted more than 25 small and medium-sized companies in obtaining business loans and helped more than 120 clients in solving their financial problems. As the company’s youngest branch manager, Alan won the Best Junior Award, Top Personal Sales Award, Top Team Sales Award and Top Team Leader Achievement respectively from 2015 to 2019. He believes that as long as he perseveres to the end, he will be successful, so he aims to build a group of sales teams with the 90s and 00s, hoping to lead a group of young people to conquer the youngster market.
Lydia Yap
Lydia Yap is the Branch Director of Mars Business Advisory in Puchong Puteri Branch. She holds a Diploma in Secretary and possessed more than 12 years of experience in personal loan telesales, focusing on sales and leadership roles.
Throughout her 12 years of experience in telemarketing, she worked at Standard Chartered Bank and Alliance Bank respectively. She won 6 times of Personal Loan Outstanding Performance and 3 times Sales Achievers Club during her service under Standard Chartered Bank. Moreover, she was also one of the top performers while she serviced under Alliance Bank, as she has Personal Top Performance and Million Dollar Club Achiever Awards for many times.
Lydia holds the belief of “Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts”, she emphasised that she will not be satisfied with her current achievements, nor is she afraid of failure. For all the decisions she made, she will have put full-force in order to achieve it.
Vishal Gurung
Vishal Gurung is one of the Branch Manager of Mars Business Advisory. With his 18 years of working experience as an operation management professional, he manages to demonstrate exceptional sales ability and result-driven persistence. He possesses outstanding leadership skills, training skills and management skills in his past experience, which he was responsible to provide training, coaching, mentorship to his team in order to achieve sales targets and drive sales conversion.
As the top sales producer among 250 staff, Vishal had been promoted to a mentor, coach, team leader and manager. Not only that, he won plenty of recognition in the past including Gold and Star Performer Awards, Top Senior Performer Award, Top Sales Award, Overdrive Award, etc. Although he has won numerous awards, Vishal is a very humble person. He will ask for advice humbly and will not be ashamed to ask and learn as for him “Life is like a story of the book, it can only be the best selling book if you have overcome your challenge and top it.”
Euro Lim
Euro Lim is the Director of Magnific Solution in Mars Business Advisory. His rich experience in the financial field, including 4 years long involving in telemarketing and financial consultant, and 2 years managing customers’ personal loan and mortgage loan, which allows him to perform oustandingly in his work responsibility.
Euro is also the CEO in the current company branch, besides the management of all company’s employees, he also engaging in all internal and external business matter as well as company activities. Euro never limit himself on what he wants to do or what he tries to change, as for him success is limit by one’s imagination, if one dare to imagine, dare to dream, yet daring to change, success will come naturally.
Eugene Tek
Eugene Tek is the Director of E&E wealth management in Mars Business Advisory, in which E&E wealth management is striving to serve the clients with exclusive financial products and to satisfy their needs by providing efficient banking solutions.
Eugene has more than 9 years of experiences in telemarketing sales. During his tenure at his previous company, Eugene is always the top team player with his hard work and excellent performances. Therefore, he was rewarded with the promotion to leadership roles and numerous awards, which including Top Performance recognition in Symphony BPO Solution, HLA Temekarting, and Best Performance continuously for 3 years in FR Global Marketing. He believes hard work will always pay off with favourable outcomes, so he aspires to be the role model for his peers and subordinate.
Pop Ang
Pop Ang is the Director and CEO of one of the branches of Mars Business Advisory. Graduated with Bachelor Degree in Financial and Accounting, Pop Ang is now possessed more than 13 years of experience in the banking field.
As the director and CEO of the company, Pop Ang not only managing the company’s employees but also engaging in all company internal and external business matters or activities. Pop Ang always believes that to gain trust from people around you, the first step is to build your own success, hence he works tirelessly to strive for his own success. By that, he earns himself several achievements in his career, which includes ABMB 10million Dollar Club, Manulife Challenge Achiever and ABMB Mortgage Loan Outstanding Performance.
May Lee
May Lee is the Debt Advisor of Kepong Bandar Menjalara branch. She possessed 5 years of experience in telemarketing which she mainly engaging in sales and leading roles.
May hold the principle of “treat the customer with heart”, she believes one sincerity in treating others will be rewarded with good results, “Nothing is impossible, it only depends on your willingness” said May. Thence, with the immense patience she shows to every customer, has granted her with Top One Sales for 4 years continuously during her 5 years working time in the telemarketing industry. She adheres to her principle of taking care of the customers with sincerity and aims to learn more in Mars Business Advisory, in order to give back the customers with the best service.
Meng Hoong
Meng Hoong is the is the Director and CEO of one of the branches of Mars Business Advisory. He is engaging with the management of the company’s employees, all internal and external business matters or the company’s activities.
Meng Hoong graduated in the business field and possesses more than 12 years of sales experience in credit card and housing loan. Up and downs in life is the best learning experience for one to grow. Hence, Meng Hoong treats every learning moment seriously, and with that, he has granted Top Achiever and Oversea Trip Achiever in AMBM and yet been promoted as Senior mortgage specialist in his previous working career. He believes one will encounter many life challenges and might face plenty of loss and downs, however, one should hold strong faith in not be defeated by those sorrowful moments.
Jasmine Lim
Jasmine Lim is the Director of The Leverage Group Sdn Bhd, also the Financial Advisor in parent company Mars Business Advisory.
Jasmine is a very persevering and determined person, she never limits herself in trying, thus she had tried in different working area and she always gains good outcomes with her hard work. During her tenure as an administrator in Lu Hai Feng Development Sdn Bhd, she handled a part of one belt one road KIFT (Kedah Integrated Fishery Terminal) Development with about Rm5 Billion Project between China & Malaysia. Besides, she also worked as a property agent in Gplex Realty & Believe Realty, she has accomplished for more than 80 Customers in the completed deal for the new project,sub-sales, rental and vacant possession.
Jasmine is the Champion of Mars Business Advisory of the year 2020. She carries the motto of “Appreciation and Gratitude”, she believes in communication and cooperating with others, one must always show gratitude and appreciate the contribution of others in order to grant bigger success!
